From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's house and the fronts of 2 houses across the street. After cigarette smoking nearly continuously when the anxiety set in, I started to observe the comings and goings of individuals in the street. I started to detect when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they headed out shopping, when they took the pet for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies tackled their day-to-day regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who stroll past the house. I started with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I generally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would interrupt me now, and say that a lot of ladies in the house do what I do, stop and chat with the other women. I have 2 replies.
