We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without offering it a 2nd idea. I began to detect when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the canine for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these women went about their daily routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of individuals who stroll past your home. I started with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I usually walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would disrupt me now, and say that many women in your home do what I do, stop and chat with the other women. I have 2 replies. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is constantly first with any chatter. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a big Irish female in her 60's. Last on this site is the removed house where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage boys. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's house. Next is our house. Last on the row was a chap who worked somewhere in the City.
