All of us support this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a reservation. Here's where I differ from the rest of you. Up up until September, I had been similar to you. In the third week, a malaise began to creep in. I had nothing to do, no place to go, and loads of time to kill. I began to get depressed.

We have a no smoking policy in our house, implemented on the bulk (me & my father) by the minority (my mother). This means that whenever we wish to smoke, we have to stand at the back door. From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's house and the fronts of 2 homes across the street. After smoking cigarettes nearly continuously when the anxiety embeded in, I started to see the comings and goings of individuals in the street. I began to detect when the mums walked their kids to school when they returned when they headed out shopping, when they took the pet for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would discover myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these women went about their everyday routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who walk past the house. I began with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I typically walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would disrupt me now, and say that most ladies in the house do what I do, chat and stop with the other women. I have two replies. One, I'm male, and 2, you don't know the half of all of it. I think it's time I provided you a total image of our street and individuals who live on it. It will be available in beneficial later. It's a very little street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 detached (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant house, and then next to that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is constantly first with any chatter. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish lady in her 60's. Then last on this website is the separated home where Steve and Mandy cope with their two teenage sons. They remain in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's home. She just recently separated from her husband and is in the process of moving. She remains in her mid 30's and has 2 pre-teen daughters Emma and Becky. Next is our home. I haven't introduced myself yet, so now would be a great time. I'm John (28 ), and I live with my mum Chrissie (45) and daddy Bob (52 ). Next along are some newcomers. At this time in November, I didn't know their names, so-called them Dick and Helen to myself. They were a couple, in their late 30's, early 40's, and they seemed to keep themselves to themselves. Last on the row was a bloke who worked somewhere in the City. I never ever spoke with him, despite the fact that what I'm about to tell you, so this is the last time I discuss him.
