We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without offering it a second thought. Here's where I vary from the rest of you. Up up until September, I had been much like you. In the 3rd week, a malaise started to creep in. I had absolutely nothing to do, no place to go, and loads of time to eliminate. I started to get depressed.

We have a no smoking cigarettes policy in our home, enforced on the bulk (me & my dad) by the minority (my mom). This means that whenever we want to smoke, we have to stand at the back entrance. From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's home and the fronts of 2 houses across the street. After cigarette smoking almost continually when the depression embeded in, I started to observe the comings and goings of the people in the street. I started to detect when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies set about their daily regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the people who stroll past the home. I started with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I normally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would disrupt me now, and say that a lot of females at house do what I do, stop and chat with the other females. It's a very small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 separated (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited house, and after that beside that is. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a huge Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this site is the separated home where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage sons.

On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's house. She just recently separated from her spouse and remains in the procedure of moving. She remains in her mid 30's and has two pre-teen daughters Emma and Becky. Next is our home. I haven't presented myself yet, so now would be a good time. I never ever talked to him, despite the fact that what I'm about to tell you, so this is the last time I discuss him.
