We all support this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without providing it a reservation. Here's where I differ from the rest of you. Up till September, I had been just like you. In the 3rd week, a despair began to sneak in. I had absolutely nothing to do, no place to go, and loads of time to eliminate. I began to get depressed.

We have a no smoking policy in our house, imposed on the bulk (me & my dad) by the minority (my mother). From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's home and the fronts of two homes throughout the street. I started to pick up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who stroll past your home. I began with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I generally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of people would interrupt me now, and state that a lot of ladies at home do what I do, stop and talk with the other women. I have two replies. One, I'm male, and 2, you do not understand the half of it all. I believe it's time I provided you a complete image of our street and the people who survive on it. It will come in useful later. It's a very little street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 separated (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited house, and after that next to that is. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this site is the separated home where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage sons.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's house. Next is our home. Last on the row was a bloke who worked someplace in the City.
