We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without offering it a second thought. Here's where I differ from the rest of you. We have a no smoking policy in our house, implemented on the bulk (me & my father) by the minority (my mom). From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's house and the fronts of two houses across the street. I started to select up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of individuals who stroll past the house. I started with a friendly hi and progressed to the point where I usually walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is always first with any gossip. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a huge Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this website is the removed house where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage sons. They remain in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's house. Next is our house. Last on the row was a bloke who worked someplace in the City.
