November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who stroll past the house. I began with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I usually walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would interrupt me now, and state that the majority of ladies at home do what I do, stop and chat with the other women. I have two replies. On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's home. She recently separated from her hubby and is in the procedure of moving. She remains in her mid 30's and has 2 pre-teen daughters Emma and Becky. Next is our home. I have not introduced myself yet, so now would be a good time.
