November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who walk past the home. I started with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I generally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's house. She recently separated from her husband and remains in the process of moving.
