We all accompany this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a second thought. Here's where I differ from the rest of you. From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's home and the fronts of 2 homes across the street. After smoking cigarettes almost continually when the anxiety set in, I began to notice the comings and goings of individuals in the street. I began to detect when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would discover myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies set about their everyday routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who walk past the home. I started with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I generally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would interrupt me now, and say that many women at house do what I do, stop and chat with the other females. It's a really small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 detached (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited home, and after that next to that is. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a huge Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this site is the detached house where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage boys.

On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's home. She recently separated from her other half and remains in the process of moving. She is in her mid 30's and has 2 pre-teen children Emma and Becky. Next is our house. I haven't presented myself yet, so now would be a good time.
