From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's house and the fronts of 2 homes across the street. After smoking practically continually when the depression embeded in, I started to notice the comings and goings of the people in the street. I started to detect when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they headed out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would discover myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these women tackled their everyday regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of individuals who stroll past the house.
