All of us support this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without offering it a doubt. Here's where I vary from the rest of you. Up until September, I had been much like you. Then in the 3rd week, a despair started to creep in. I had absolutely nothing to do, no place to go, and loads of time to kill. I started to get depressed.

We have a no cigarette smoking policy in our home, implemented on the majority (me & my daddy) by the minority (my mother). From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's home and the fronts of two houses across the street. I began to pick up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who walk past your house. I started with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I normally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would disrupt me now, and say that most ladies in your home do what I do, stop and talk with the other women. I have two replies. One, I'm male, and 2, you don't understand the half of everything. I believe it's time I gave you a total photo of our street and individuals who survive on it. It will can be found in useful later on. It's a very little street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 removed (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited house, and after that next to that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is constantly first with any gossip. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish female in her 60's. Last on this site is the detached house where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage kids. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we begin with Linda's home. She recently separated from her hubby and remains in the procedure of moving. She is in her mid 30's and has two pre-teen children Emma and Becky. Next is our home. I haven't introduced myself yet, so now would be a great time.
