We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without offering it a reservation. Here's where I differ from the rest of you. We have a no cigarette smoking policy in our house, implemented on the bulk (me & my dad) by the minority (my mom). This means that whenever we wish to smoke, we need to stand at the back entrance. From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's house and the fronts of 2 homes across the street. After smoking cigarettes almost continually when the anxiety embeded in, I began to observe the comings and goings of individuals in the street. I began to pick up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these women went about their everyday regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the people who stroll past the house. I began with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I typically stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would interrupt me now, and state that a lot of females at home do what I do, chat and stop with the other women. It's a very small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 separated (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited home, and after that next to that is. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a huge Irish female in her 60's. Last on this website is the separated home where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage kids.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we begin with Linda's house. She just recently separated from her hubby and is in the process of moving. She is in her mid 30's and has two pre-teen children Emma and Becky. Next is our home. I haven't presented myself yet, so now would be a great time. I'm John (28 ), and I deal with my mum Chrissie (45) and daddy Bob (52 ). Next along are some newcomers. At this time in November, I didn't understand their names, so-called them Dick and Helen to myself.
