From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's house and the fronts of two houses across the street. After cigarette smoking almost continually when the depression set in, I started to observe the comings and goings of the people in the street. I started to detect when the mums strolled their kids to school when they returned when they headed out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would discover myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these women went about their day-to-day routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of individuals who walk past the house. I began with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I usually walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of people would interrupt me now, and say that the majority of females in the house do what I do, talk and stop with the other women. I have two replies. Last on this site is the detached home where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage sons. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's home. Next is our home. Last on the row was a bloke who worked someplace in the City.
