We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without providing it a 2nd thought. I started to detect when the mums walked their kids to school when they returned when they headed out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would discover myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these females tackled their everyday regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who walk past the home. I began with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I generally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. A lot of individuals would disrupt me now, and say that the majority of ladies at home do what I do, stop and chat with the other women. It's a very small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 removed (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited house, and after that next to that is. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a big Irish female in her 60's. Last on this site is the detached house where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage boys.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's house. Next is our home. Last on the row was a bloke who worked somewhere in the City.
