We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without offering it a second thought. Setting off to work every day, concerned more about what I was going to do with the day rather than what my neighbours would be up to. It didn't stop me from doing most things, I could walk, run, and climb, however it did stop me from driving, and that in turn stopped me from working.

We have a no smoking cigarettes policy in our house, implemented on the bulk (me & my dad) by the minority (my mother). This means that whenever we wish to smoke, we have to stand at the back entrance. From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's house and the fronts of two homes across the street. After smoking cigarettes almost constantly when the depression embeded in, I started to notice the comings and goings of the people in the street. I started to detect when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they headed out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these females set about their daily regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who walk past your home. I started with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I normally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would interrupt me now, and state that a lot of ladies in your home do what I do, chat and stop with the other women. I have two replies. One, I'm male, and two, you don't understand the half of all of it. I believe it's time I gave you a complete picture of our street and the people who reside on it. It will be available in beneficial in the future. It's a really little street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 separated (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant house, and after that next to that is. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish lady in her 60's. Last on this website is the separated house where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage kids.

On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's home. She just recently separated from her spouse and is in the procedure of moving. She remains in her mid 30's and has 2 pre-teen children Emma and Becky. Next is our house. I have not presented myself yet, so now would be a great time. I'm John (28 ), and I live with my mum Chrissie (45) and daddy Bob (52 ). Next along are some beginners. At this time in November, I didn't understand their names, so-called them Dick and Helen to myself. Naturally, whenever I spoke with them, I used terms like a neighbour to bridge this gap in my knowledge. They were a couple, in their late 30's, early 40's, and they seemed to keep themselves to themselves. Last on the row was a chap who worked someplace in the City. I never talked to him, although what I'm about to tell you, so this is the last time I mention him.
