We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a second thought. Here's where I differ from the rest of you. Up until September, I had been much like you. In the third week, a despair began to sneak in. I had absolutely nothing to do, no place to go, and loads of time to kill. I started to get depressed.

We have a no smoking cigarettes policy in our home, enforced on the bulk (me & my dad) by the minority (my mom). From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's home and the fronts of two homes across the street. I began to select up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the individuals who walk past the home. I began with a friendly hi and progressed to the point where I normally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. A lot of people would disrupt me now, and state that the majority of females at home do what I do, talk and stop with the other females. It's a extremely small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 separated (that's 5 buildings in all).
