All of us support this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a second thought. Here's where I vary from the rest of you. November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who stroll past your home. I began with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I typically walk down to the garden gate and have a chat.
