With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would discover myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these women tackled their daily regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of individuals who walk past the house. I started with a friendly hello and advanced to the point where I typically stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's home. Next is our house. Last on the row was a chap who worked somewhere in the City.
