With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would discover myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these females tackled their daily regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of individuals who walk past the house. I began with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I usually stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of people would interrupt me now, and state that most females in your home do what I do, talk and stop with the other women. I have two replies. One, I'm male, and two, you don't understand the half of all of it. I believe it's time I offered you a complete image of our street and the people who survive on it. It will be available in beneficial later. It's a really small street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 separated (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant house, and then beside that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is always first with any gossip. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish woman in her 60's. Then last on this site is the detached home where Steve and Mandy cope with their two teenage kids. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's house. Next is our home. Last on the row was a chap who worked someplace in the City.
