From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's home and the fronts of 2 houses across the street. After cigarette smoking practically continuously when the anxiety set in, I started to see the comings and goings of the people in the street. I started to detect when the mums walked their kids to school when they returned when they went out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would discover myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies set about their day-to-day regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the people who walk past the home. I started with a friendly hi and progressed to the point where I usually stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of individuals would disrupt me now, and state that the majority of ladies at home do what I do, stop and talk with the other ladies.
