November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the people who stroll past the house. I began with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I generally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would interrupt me now, and say that most women at home do what I do, chat and stop with the other ladies. It's a extremely little street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 separated (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited house, and after that next to that is. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this site is the separated home where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage boys.
