We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a 2nd idea. I started to pick up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they headed out shopping, when they took the pet for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these females went about their everyday routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of individuals who walk past the house. I began with a friendly hi and progressed to the point where I generally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would interrupt me now, and state that the majority of ladies in the house do what I do, stop and talk with the other women. I have two replies. One, I'm male, and two, you don't understand the half of all of it. I believe it's time I offered you a total photo of our street and individuals who live on it. It will be available in useful later. It's a very small street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 separated (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant house, and then next to that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is constantly first with any gossip. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this site is the removed house where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage sons. They remain in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's house. Next is our home. Last on the row was a bloke who worked somewhere in the City.
