From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's home and the fronts of two homes across the street. After smoking cigarettes nearly continuously when the depression embeded in, I began to discover the comings and goings of individuals in the street. I started to pick up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they returned when they headed out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies tackled their everyday regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the individuals who stroll past the house. I started with a friendly hi and progressed to the point where I typically walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of individuals would disrupt me now, and say that most females at house do what I do, stop and talk with the other females. It's a extremely small street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 separated (that's 5 structures in all). Then last on this site is the detached house where Steve and Mandy cope with their 2 teenage boys. They remain in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we begin with Linda's house. Next is our home. Last on the row was a chap who worked someplace in the City.
